I feel it is important to maintain an environment free from judgement that promotes learning and growth.  Autumne and I have built our company to provide a clinic in which new therapists may grow while clients receive whole care from providers who genuinely care. We seek to teach and learn from our providers, clients, and colleagues, providing a place for clinicians to continue growth while providing for outstanding care for our clients.

My history is in school counseling where I've worked for over 20 years.  From this, I have experience with multiple populations and many different issues, in individual and family settings. I've also worked in acute, EAP, and residential therapy. I believe in continuing to educate and grow in this field, and although I have a large toolbox of skills I focus on the client's individual strengths and needs when deciding what interventions and techniques to employ. I look forward to meeting you!

Alexis Flagstad, MA, LPCC

Child and Family Counselor

Therapy is a chance to get to know yourself on a deeper level and grow to fully accept who you are, as well as an opportunity to change the parts that aren’t working for you. My background includes community mental health, a domestic violence shelter, and a residential youth treatment center. I have experience working with many different communities and enjoy being there to witness a client’s growth in confidence and happiness. With an educational background in Adlerian, CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing I take an eclectic approach; utilizing specific skills that fit each client. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents, people with ADHD and those in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Alexis accepts Aetna, Medicaid, Cigna, and some forms of United Healthcare insurances as well as private pay on a sliding scale at this time.
